My research focuses on how to transform teaching and learning art in traditional classroom and museum settings by using new technologies. Currently, I am researching aspects of interactive and hands-on learning, collaboration, curriculum integration and implications of new technologies for future art education and museum education. Here are some examples of my research and teaching interests:

  • Curriculum development and implementation: Emphasis on comprehensive multicultural, interdisciplinary and inquiry-oriented learning.
  • Art education: Focus on history, aesthetics, contemporary issues and methods.
  • Museum studies: Address issues, history and education with specialization on hands-on and participatory learning environment.
  • Emerging technology: Strong in design, evaluation, content and storyline development, usability testing and interactive-based Web and multimedia programming.
